Message from the President

To our policy holders,

Since 1939, Teachers Life has protected families through challenging times. Then as now, our commitment to the health and well-being of our policy holders, staff and partners is always our top priority.

We know that the global COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult time for everyone. Teachers Life is closely monitoring the developments in public health, and constantly reviewing our procedures to keep our policy holders and employees safe.

During this time, many Canadians are seeking health and financial support, and Teachers Life has the expertise and positioning to provide help through insurance. Our policy holders can rest assured that our Canadian insurance industry is highly controlled, and that even during this unstable time Teachers Life is able to meet and exceed our regulatory obligations.

The education community faces a unique set of challenges during the pandemic. On behalf of the Teachers Life staff and Board, I want to acknowledge their necessary and important work. I also want to say to any educator: we are here to help.

We continue to provide dependable and efficient support to all our policy holders, and the communities that they live and work in, during the third wave COVID-19 pandemic.

Doug Baker
President & CEO, Teachers Life
